This is a 2020 review: not bad. Sweeter but not crazy, with a hot finish for the 1st shot. Took a second shot to be safe. I sip, not shoot them. The 2nd shot- delicious light sweet- caramel, a little vanilla, nice smoke from the barrel. Very smooth with not much of a finish. For $20 anejo (packaged basically in a 1 liter blush wine bottle), this is a surprisingly good value. I can’t stop smelling the oak finish in the shot glass, keep this in your cabinet.
